Day 180............... went out this afternoon and found a good spot to set up the easel. A potato field near Lee just up the road from Ellesmere. Pastels on brown Ingres paper.

Day 179 .............. plaster sculpture in a mirror. Pastels on light brown Ingres paper.

Day 178 ............ Lots of fruit in the house tonight! Oil pastels on black A1 paper.

Day 177..........Picket fence and walled garden. Oil pastels on A1 black sugar paper.

Day 176 ...........A 40 min oil pastel colourful self-portrait on A1 black sugar paper.

Day 175 ..............Kingsland Grange/Prep school.....chalk pastels on Green Ingres paper.

Day 174 ...........Chirk Railway Station. Chalk pastels on grey/blue Ingres paper.

Day 173 ........... put the easel etc in the car and ventured out to find a suitable spot. Very windy and kept raining so did a sketch from the car. This one is on blue paint-primed A3 paper using pen and chalks. Near Whittington.

Day 172 ................. lane west of Ellesmere. Oil pastels on Blue Ingres paper.

Day 171 ............... sketching at the Bruce Springsteen Concert, Ricoh Arena Coventry.

Day 170 ....... The 6th Form House.

Day 169 ............A stone sculpture in a garden. Charcoal on A1 paper.

Day 168 ..............A wild garden. Chalk pastels on red paper.

Day 167 ............Day 167 ............ I found a great spot to sketch this afternoon on a remote country lane between Hampton Wood and Welshampton. In the time I was there, two cars passed as well as two horse-riders. They stopped for a chat which was nice. I think I'll go back there and paint soon. Oil pastel on blue Ingres paper.
