Day 329........... this afternoon I took my easel and pastels up to Corbett Wood on a really lovely afternoon.

Day 329........... this afternoon I took my easel and pastels up to Corbett Wood on a really lovely afternoon. (School closed today!) Bright sunshine and good shadows. We seem to have been going through a much later than usual autumnal period and I have tried to capture this with the colours I've used. I love the oranges and deep reds coupled with blues and even the odd fleck of pink. This one took longer than usual as it went through a difficult middle stage but I think I sorted it out in the end.
